Contrary to the common misconception that people have,
ebay
is not just an online equivalent of a car boot sale. It is a shopping mall with among other things shops, stores and endless opportunities. Do you wish to find an income earning potential for your hobbies and craft skills? Do you often pick up cheap stuff on your holidays abroad, which you think could sell at a premium in your country? Do you have anything at home right now which you do not use? Is there anything you think could sell on a regular basis? If the answer to any of these questions is yes then
ebay
is the place for you.
Where are all those beautiful hand made cards, knitted jumpers, embroidered cushions, paintings, candles, wall hangings, you made to pass your time? Make more because they spell money. Where are the beautiful pieces of costume jewellery you bought for peanuts on you holiday last year.....and the rugs, the handicrafts, the hand bags? Dig them out because they sell. Anything sells and everything sells. If you can think of anyone who could supply you with goods on a regular basis set up an
ebay
store. Jewellery, spectacles, handbags, shoes, DVD's, cycles, skates, toys, clothes, sports and exercise equipment, electronic goods, cameras, mobile phones, furniture.....every thing sells.

ebay.
Register for free, read the safe buying and selling tips and then the world is your oyster. You can be in
UK and sell in Australia or you can be in India and sell in USA, there are no
boundaries and no limits.
But if you can't find anything to sell yourself, you need not worry because you can sell for others and earn commission. That is being a trading assistant in ebay speak.
But before you read further please be aware that being a trading assistant is not exactly online work. It involves dealing with people and helping them in selling their products.
What does the job involve?
As a trading assistant you will help people in your area sell good on
ebay. As the official seller on
ebay, you are responsible for accurately describing the item and following
eBay's Listing Policies
. You will list the item, receive the winning buyer's payment, ensure the item reaches the buyer, give and receive feedback, etc. You will be responsible for paying
ebay's selling fee, which you can later pass on to the client as part of your overall fee to them. Once a sale is completed you can deduct your fees and pass the remainder to the client. It is important however to discuss the commission and the fees with the client before hand to avoid
confusion later on.
